Yesterday, some of our high school students participated in the Saginaw County Law Day. The students have been preparing for months to go through a mock trial in front of a Saginaw County Judge and a jury of other high school students from around the area. This year another aspect was added, a courtroom student artist. We were represented by Elena Wells, whose drawing was chosen as this year’s winner! Congratulations, Elena! It was a great day for all students involved!
Yesterday BRHS Juniors participated in the Frankenmuth Credit Union Reality Fair. This interactive activity allows students to get feel for the reality of having a job, managing household expenses and budgeting. Thank you Frankenmuth Credit Union for your support!

Over the last week, Mrs. Cole's Sports Medicine class has had the opportunity to learn the skills involved with providing CPR and First Aid through the instruction of Mr. Shane Doyan. They were able to practice their CPR skills on the adult and infant mannequins, as well as themselves or a partner for the first aid portion. At the conclusion of the course, all of the students obtained First Aid and CPR certification, which is valid for a two year period.
WE APPRECIATE OUR VOLUNTEERS!
