BRHS Academic Intervention | Tutoring Center

HOURS: Monday - Thursday | 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

LOCATION:

Monday & Wednesday: Mrs. Burns' Classroom (Room 317)

Tuesday & Thursday: Ms. Clyde's Classroom (Room 205)

The BRHS Academic Support Center is open to all students for one hour after school. It provides students the opportunity to complete assignments with additional guidance from staff and/or peer tutors.  Students are also able to use the center to study for tests and other classwork.

All four days are open to all students for any courses/content they need assistance with. For more directed help in Math or ELA, students may wish to note that Ms. Clyde is a math teacher, and Mrs. Burns is an ELA teacher.

**WE CAN PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is provided for students who have made prior arrangements with Mrs. Aldrich-Elgie (room 225).

Online Tutoring Videos:

Khan Academy is a free website that offers online tutoring videos for students that are finding Math and Science difficult, or who would like to advance their knowledge in the content. This website is growing as it has added video of tutoring sessions. There are many success stories and documentary videos produced that praise this as one more tool to help our students be successful in Math and Science. If your son or daughter does not have access to the internet, have them visit us after school or on Saturdays to access the internet though our wifi.
